How to activate your Poken?

Activating your poken:

Gently pull the body away from the hand to reveal the USB connector.
The USB connector is protected with a thin plastic pull-tab.
Pull it away, and discard it.
The poken should glow multiple colors for a few seconds, indicating that it has just been activated.

the poken has different modes for each mode there is a corresponding color: green, red and orange glow, plus the ‘light show’.
the green light appears when you have successfully poken'ed with someone, and exchanged profiles.
the red light appears when the two poken could not successfully exchange data. Wait for the red glowing to stop and retry to poken the other person.
the orange light appears right after you have poken'ed with someone but only have room for 4 or less poken contacts (pokenSparks only).
the ‘light show’ appears if you press your poken's button for a couple of seconds. it's simply for entertainment with its groovy lights and will also let you know the battery still works!

Simply touch poken-to-poken with a “high-four” gesture, palm against palm, for about one second. You will feel a gentle magnetic pull when the Pokens are close together.
If the connection was successful your Pokenʼs palm will glow green for a few seconds and Thatʼs it! You have successfully Poken'ed and stored your friendʼs information.

Whenever youʼd like: plug your Poken into a computers USB port. The computer needs to have an active internet connection to upload your contacts.
On computers with “auto-launch” enabled (Windows Vista) a web browser will automatically launch and display your Poken account
On the Mac your Poken appears as a new drive on your computer, called “POKEN”. Simply open it then double-click on “Start_Poken.html” to launch your Poken upload. The default web browser will launch. Just follow the onscreen instructions to log into and manage your Poken account.
